I agree with you 2003 was a lot easier in some ways and the 90's were too. And it has gotten worse with the ecomony, people losing homes, jobs and the cost of things keep going up. It is affecting many people all over the world. But there is one thing you can't give up and still need to try to make it better for you and others by helping each other instead of waiting for the government to make it better. I would like to see the government be more active with funds and help for people. Time will tell.

I am motivated ,determined as well as patient ,loving and have a youthful yet responsible outlook on my life and will be the first to step to the plate and admit faults because they have made me who i am today! I know i can accomplish so much more if i am giving the chance. I am the kind of person that gets knocked down ten times and still get right back up as thou nothing happened with a smile on my face ready to try a different approach to whatever the goal may be.I am confident i would stand out amongst a million of my peers and if you interviewed a thousand people i would be the one you would not forget! I am not asking for hand outs i am how ever asking someone who is in a better spot then myself to help me out of this rut i am in with financial help or just a point in the right direction i am not afraid of hard work i believe the harder you have to work the bigger sense of selfworth you will have when you reach your goals. I am currently employed, this was a last minute thing to except the offer because I did not have money. I am able to start paying back loan on 11/26/10 of $200 per week and will pay weekly. my name is christina. after 2 years of not working and being unable to find a suitable job within my current medical restrictions. my boyfriend of 9 years was laid off right before christmas and has not been able to find a job for 7 months. christmas was horrible, my son and my daughter both had very sad birthdays. my father just passed away on may 3 he was cremated and we are waiting to bury him on july 18th. i have noway to get there. my car is on the verge of repossesion and we owe almost 3000.00 in rent. my son has been pulled from his summer school program because i just cant afford to drive him back and fourth for only 3 hours. the car company said that i have 7 days to come up with my late car payment of 297.00 and the insurance is about to lapse. having the car taken will be the worst. day to day life will be next to impossible. i dont know what else to do. i applied for emergency assistance through my state but they won't help because we have no income exept what the give us about 500.00 a month. my rent is 975.00 car is 297.00 insurance is 89.00 electric 50.00 gas 40.00 garbage 20.00 water 45.00 both my kids need summer clothes and shoes. i have tried to sell anything and everything i can. short of selling the kids stuff. please if you can even ony help with something small i will give the account number and the company information so you can just pay them directly. i am not looking for someone to give me ANY money. i am asking people to if they can help let me know what you can help with and i will give you the information to verify only if you can help please i dont want to give out personal info unless you really want to help, thank you for your time

I have been suffering for quite sometime because I lost my medical card but had to continue seeing my doctor due to health reasons.

They did put me on a sliding scale, but I just couldn't keep up.  I finally couldn't see her anymore, I couldn't afford it. Now that I need her again, she won't see me without paying the past bill which is $600.00. This may as well be $6000.00 to me. If anyone could find it in their heart to help me, I would be forever grateful.

I am sorry that I cannot help financially at all for I too have a deep need for help with that.  I just wanted to tell you to keep your chin held high and know that whatever happens, there will be a way for you to endure it all and come out on top.  I have 6 kids, and abusive ex and now I have no job.  I really was feeling hopeless myself today.  I saw you on here, and I realized that I am not the only one in this situation.  Although I am very sad that you are having troubles, I am glad that I was able to connect and just let you know, I am here too.  WE will get through this.  Trust, faith, perserverence.

need help wiith our stupid oil bill again...i have been paying steadily on it, i'm not a slacker a mother of three, me and "daddy" both work him 45 hours a week and then i work pt nights, but we're still payin g off the last tank of oil and we are on e, oil people won't deliver oil without money to pay foran  it...no oil companies around here will deliver less than 150 gallons, and the cost is around $600,  and i just gave them $100 yesterday, my whole pay check, i work retail and don't get many hours when its slow,  so here we are working our buts off trying to stay off welfare and we can't seem to get any relief.  We got a $100 grant from LIHEAP, because child support paid out to a fourth child doesn't count towards our poverty level according to them, its crazy, we are struggling with rising costs everywhere.  today i paid 5.99 for a 10 lb bag of potatoes that is normally $3.00.  Any one would like to help use  could donate directly to the oil company, and if not it was worth a shot anyway. we are about to have our car taken away becuase we can only make one payment a month if they take the car we won't be able to go to the grocery store or drs,drugstore or even be able to take my mom to where she needs to go and she is 64 and will be 65 soon.can any help a little help is better then none please i hate having to ask but i am at my wits end and don't know what else to do

Hi everyone her my name is michael my wife and i have 4 children . We started out doing very well but now we are having trouble with living expences. I had a kidney transpant 28 years ago and recently became disabled. My daughter also has become a transplant patient. She too had a kidney transpant and the donor ws her mom. I went from making 60 thousand dollars year to making disablity and it has been so roof. I have never asked for help in my life but i am now at the point i have to. I have asked churches to to help but as usually they only want to send their money and help to other countries , something i will never understand.  I am now in a wheeelchair and having trouble taking care ofmy kids so my wife had to stop working help at home.  Are car has broken down and we have been having trouble getting my daughter back in forth to Birmingham Alabama which is 5 hours away from where we live. If she does not get seen she takes chance of something going wrong and losing her new kidney.

I have learn one thing about get help with medication and that was how to aply for assitance with manufatures of the drugs and if there is anyone out here in that nee i can do all your paper work and help you to get the medication that you need all i would need is you to give me information or i can call the company get your application and send them to your with instruction on how to fill them out. If there is anyone out here that could help me and my family with expences or find a car please i would appreicate the help.

Hi, my name is Steve, and I suffer from bipolar disorder, social anxiety problems, agoraphobia, and arthritis. I haven't been able to work for a few years and I am currently awaiting approval for ssi. If I were a single man I would have no problem finding shelter for myself or just ending my life but this is not the case I have a wife and a 12 year old son. The only money I have been able to make are through giving blood plasma twice a week and sometimes I am fortunate enough to participate in paid research studies. I am currently $700.00 in rent, about $480.00 in utilities, and car insurance has lapsed. I get food for my family from foodbanks. I am really trying hard to avoid homelessness for me and my family and my benefits will eventually start. We simply need a little assistance to stabilize our finances until SSI and VA benefits start. Can someone please help...any contribution is appreciated.

i am a male that served several long years in prison for a non violent crime. i was raised by 5 different stepfathers before i was age 13...got in the wrong crowd ,ran away when i was 14 and spent several years running the hyways and doing what lil a kid could do to stay alive..unwanted by my family and no friends,i turned to ruff life,stealing and running and loafing and just down right no good. i ended up in prison for many years for financial crimes. while i was in i was introduced to a woman whom i grew to love and cherish as my love and my friend,we married and when i was finally released from prison were united . we began ok but when i repeatedly could not find work due to being truthful of my past,we bagan to have problems. we seperated and i continued to try to piece my life back together...i started my own buisness but to no avail,it hasnt worked out. im fixin to be evicted,my car was just repoed,i have 5 days till im gonna lose my electric and my phone. i have tried and tried and have paid my debt and noone has even bothered to try to help me gain my life back......i have no family and if i could just get on my feey for once in my life,i could take it from there4...so if anyone knows of anyone needing work done on there house,anyone with an old rv or travel trailer they dont need or of a job that would pay my housing ,please help...i want my wife back and i want a real home some day...i have learned not to take,not to do the wrongs i did as a kid but god this is getting so hard...i am fixing to be homeless. i have a place to park an rv here in georgia just to be the night watchmen but i dont have one and no money to get one..i would even work for one if u need me to......anyways,im just down and saw this and prayed someone with some help may read it...thanks..if nothing else please pray for me.

We have been trying to get pregnant for the past 6 years. We have been to every doctor we know and have racked up many bills. On friday the doctor told us the only way we can have a baby is to do IVF. We are maxed out on bills from all the past doctors and can not afford to pay for invitro. We are asking for help! My child's father was told that sherrifs knocked down the door at an apartment that he was staying in to do a job.  He is a contractor, therefore, he travels frequently.  The told his old roomate that they were looking to extradite him to Texas.  We then contacted everyone that we could to find out what was going on.  The only answer that we could get is that it is a felony charge for wrongful use of a credit card.  He knows that he did not do anything like that!  This is insane!  He would have to go to Texas and, since out of state, he would have to pay 2500 dollars to make bale to wait for his pending court date to prove that he is innocent!  If he cannont pay that, then he will have to sit in jail for, what they said would be, 19 months!  Our child has had multiple surgeries over the last couple of years and work has been unstable for me and he is always on the road chasing ends to see if they can meet.  I know that this sounds rediculous and I am at my smallest asking this....Please please please someone help us.  We cannot afford the bale or an attorney.  We were told that a court appointed attorney would be more interested in making him plea, pay a fine, and do time.  He would be that least of their concern and he would just be hearded out.  He is Azorian and is often racially profiled and we are very affraid.  I cannot imagine what would happen to our family if this happens.  I am desperate and am at the point of begging.  My child, I cannot bare to think of telling him that his father is in jail.  He didn't do anything.  This is like a giant toilet bowl flushing away an innocent man, who cannot afford to deffend himself and is nothing to this judicial system but cow that needs to be hearded out of their way.  It makes me sick.  Please help us.  I cannot say it enough. please
